This privacy notice explains how EdgeLabAI ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
EdgeLabAI is operated by Scott Freedman, sole trader, based in London, United Kingdom.

2. What we collect
- From you, via this site: name, email address, phone number, and any message you choose to send through our contact form.
- From your callers, via the voice agent: caller phone number, name and details they share during the call, audio recordings, and machine-generated transcripts and summaries.
- Automatically: basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.
3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)
- To respond to enquiries — legitimate interest in answering you, or steps to enter a contract.
- To provide the service — performance of contract with our customer (your business).
- To improve the service — legitimate interest, only on de-identified or aggregated data.
- To comply with law — where we must keep records (e.g. accounting).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the suppliers needed to run the service:
- Hosting and form processing: Netlify, Inc.
- Voice agent infrastructure: Vapi and its underlying model and telephony providers.
- Booking and calendar: Calendly.
- Email delivery: standard email providers.
Each is bound by their own data-protection terms. Some of these providers are based in the United States; transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
Contact-form messages: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Call recordings and summaries: for as long as you remain a customer plus 12 months, unless you ask us to delete sooner. Accounting records: 6 years, as required by HMRC.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- See what personal data we hold on you;
- Correct anything that’s wrong;
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- Restrict or object to processing;
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
Email scott@edgelabai.com and we’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
This site uses only essential cookies needed for the page to function. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes we’ll update this notice and add a cookie banner.
8. Changes to this notice
If we change this policy we’ll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be flagged on the homepage.
