Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the EdgeLabAI service ("the Service"). By signing up or using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. The Service
EdgeLabAI provides an AI voice receptionist that answers phone calls on behalf of your business, handles common enquiries, and sends you summaries of those calls. The Service is provided "as is" but with reasonable skill and care.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and operate a legitimate business in the United Kingdom. The free trial is limited to one per business.
3. Pricing & trial
The current price is shown on our homepage and confirmed during onboarding. The 14-day free trial requires no payment card. After the trial you may continue on a rolling monthly subscription, cancellable at any time with no minimum term and no exit fee.
4. Your responsibilities
- Make sure call-forwarding is properly configured on your line.
- Give us accurate information about your services, prices and availability so the agent can answer callers correctly.
- Comply with applicable UK law, including telling callers that calls may be recorded where required.
- Don’t use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
5. Our responsibilities
- We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The Service depends on third-party telephony and AI providers.
- We’ll respond to support requests promptly — in practice within one working day.
- We’ll handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. The "fix it or you don’t pay" promise
If the agent persistently sounds robotic or causes a clear, demonstrable problem with your callers, tell us. We’ll fix it. If we can’t resolve it within a reasonable period, we’ll refund the affected month and release you from any remaining commitment.
7. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by emailing scott@edgelabai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. We do not pro-rate part-months.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under English law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, business or data, or for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Changes
We may update these terms by giving at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you don’t agree to the change you can cancel before it takes effect with no penalty.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
